Uzbekistan to send rescuers to Türkiye
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has issued a corresponding order.
According to the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Asadov, a group of rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be sent to provide humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in Türkiye and participate in the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that 912 people died and around 5,400 people were injured in the incident.
Reportedly, 2.8 thousand buildings were damaged.
