Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Meets Chinese President Xi Jinping to Bolster Strategic Ties

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a high-level meeting with President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during his official visit to China.
Minister Saidov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to President Xi, underscoring the spirit of friendship and mutual respect that characterizes Uzbekistan-China relations.
According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides engaged in constructive discussions on a range of bilateral cooperation issues. Particular attention was given to expanding partnerships in trade, enhancing transport and logistics connectivity, and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing a comprehensive strategic partnership. They also emphasized the importance of continued cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with a focus on sustainable development, regional stability, and shared prosperity.
The meeting reflected the growing momentum in Uzbekistan-China relations and the mutual desire to elevate collaboration across all key sectors in the years ahead.
