PM Chính expressed his pleasure in meeting Kusy and other friends who have longstanding ties with Vietnam. He conveyed the deep appreciation of the Vietnamese people for the Czech Republic’s support throughout Vietnam’s history, particularly during the struggle for national independence and reunification, as well as in the ongoing process of national development.

The Prime Minister also commended Kusy and the Czech-Vietnam Friendship Association for their efforts to support the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, highlighting their significant role in fostering bilateral connections. He reassured Kusy of the Vietnamese State’s continued support for the association and its efforts to deepen ties between the people of the two nations.

He encouraged the association to continue its efforts to enhance Vietnam-Czech relations, ensuring they are more profound, substantive, and effective.

He expressed confidence that PM Chính’s current visit would usher in a new phase of cooperation between the two countries.

Kusy also praised Vietnam’s remarkable development and noted that the Czech-Vietnam Friendship Association has worked closely with the Vietnamese Embassy and community associations in the Czech Republic to promote bilateral relations. He proposed further people-to-people exchanges, including the creation of a Vietnamese cultural center in the Czech Republic, to enhance mutual understanding between the two nations.

Agreeing with Kusy’s proposal, PM Chính expressed his commitment to instructing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies to explore the feasibility of establishing a Vietnamese cultural center in the Czech Republic, further cementing the friendship between the two countries.
