World Taekwondo Federation grants Saudi Crown Prince the honorary '9 Dan' belt

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The World Taekwondo Federation has granted Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman the honorary “9 Dan” belt of the federation.

The gesture of the federation to grant the belt to the Crown Prince has come as an appreciation for his efforts in supporting the Taekwondo sport globally, and the international sport movement, through the Kingdom‘ embracing and hosting of the most important and greatest tournaments and various sports events, which serves the aspiration and ambition of athletes around the world.

The honorary “9 Dan” belt was received on Sunday by the Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki, who is also the chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, during a meeting with the World Taekwondo President Dr. Chungwon Choue.

It is noteworthy that the belt is exclusively granted to the countries’ leaders who support the Taekwondo sport.
