Xi Jinping Congratulates To Lam on Election as General Secretary of Communist Party of Vietnam
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping on Saturday sent a congratulatory message to To Lam, celebrating his election as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee.
In the message, Xi expressed his pleasure upon learning of To Lam’s election and extended his warm congratulations on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and himself.
Highlighting the close ties between China and Vietnam, Xi noted that the two countries are friendly socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. He recalled his state visit to Vietnam last December, during which both nations jointly announced the establishment of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future. This initiative carries strategic significance and marks a new chapter in the relations between the two parties and countries.
Xi expressed his readiness to collaborate with To Lam to guide substantial development in building this China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
