Zelenskyy Thanks Azerbaijan for Support, Highlights Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Kyiv, The Gulf Observer: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for the support extended to Ukraine, media reports said.
Sharing a statement on the social network X, President Zelenskyy appreciated the congratulations from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day and noted his respect for Ukraine and its people.
“Dear President, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have always supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We are sincerely grateful to friendly Azerbaijan for its humanitarian and other assistance. We look forward to further strengthening our strategic partnership for the benefit of our peoples,” Zelenskyy said.
