20th International Education Show Launches at Expo Centre Sharjah

Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The 20th edition of the International Education Show commenced today at the Expo Centre Sharjah, showcasing the participation of over 125 universities and educational institutions from more than 20 countries. This four-day event, organized by Expo Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is recognized as one of the most significant higher education exhibitions in the UAE and the wider region.

The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Ahmed Mohamed Obaid Al Naboodah, Board Member of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). The ceremony was attended by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, along with various board members of the Sharjah Chamber.

After the opening ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of pavilions and stands, engaging with representatives from numerous academic institutions and university officials from both the UAE and abroad. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest academic offerings, educational programs, and services available.

This year’s edition presents prospective students and their families with excellent opportunities to choose from an extensive range of world-class higher education programs offered by renowned universities from countries including Canada, the UK, Bahrain, Malaysia, India, and Cyprus. Additionally, the event highlights the strong participation of UAE academic institutions, which continue to attract students seeking the latest advancements in higher education.

In his remarks, Ahmed Mohamed Obaid Al Naboodah expressed pride in the Sharjah Chamber’s two-decade commitment to supporting the International Education Show. He emphasized the event’s role as a dynamic platform for promoting the sustainability of the educational sector and providing diverse academic opportunities for the community in the UAE and across the region.

Al Naboodah noted the exhibition’s significance in enhancing Sharjah’s economic and social development, underscoring its embodiment of collaboration among various sectors to drive progress. This includes partnerships between educational institutions and the private sector, aimed at bolstering investment opportunities in education and transforming knowledge into a catalyst for economic growth.

The 20th International Education Show welcomes visitors on Wednesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 14:00, and on Friday and Saturday from 15:00 to 21:00.
