89 Families Resettled in Aghdara District Villages, Receive Keys to New Homes

Aghdara, The Gulf Observer: A total of 89 families were resettled on January 9 in the Ashaghi Oratagh, Heyvali, Chapar, and Childiran villages of Aghdara district and were handed the keys to their newly built houses as part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing resettlement program.

The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Office of the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, as well as representatives from the Aghdara and Khojaly districts. Officials from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were also present at the event.

The resettlement forms part of broader state efforts to ensure the return of displaced families to their native lands, restore living conditions in the region, and support sustainable socio-economic development through the reconstruction and revitalization of liberated territories.

Authorities noted that the newly resettled families have been provided with modern housing and essential infrastructure, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving living standards and facilitating long-term reintegration in the Aghdara district.
