GAA looks forward after success of BIAS 2022

Manama, The Gulf Observer: With the success of the Sixth Bahrain International Airshow 2022 (BIAS 2022), the Gulf Aviation Academy looks forward to building up and placing itself in the world market, said Chief Executive Officer, ICAO ASTC Director, Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), Dhaffer Al Abbasi.

“The GAA partners with the Kingdom of Bahrain for the airshow and we are the drivers behind everything that they lay out for us in the sense this airshow has been created as support for all the companies that are within for us to reach out to the rest of the world,” he said.

“We are very content and happy that this event is being held under the patronage of His Majesty the King. This setup is like no other, being held for the sixth time. Over the years, we have witnessed and seen only growth. Today. We the GAA launched virtual reality demonstrations which might not be very new for the market, but the latest thing is that GAA is the one that creates this in house with our own team.”

The GAA managed to reach out to all its clients and tailor made all the programmes for themselves to be specific to their requirements, and in a very short time, he added.

“We hope that we will reach out to the rest of the world because as we signed more contracts with individuals that are exceeding 180 in the participation this year I think it will place GAA in the world market,” he said.

“Through the Bahrain International Airshow we are expecting more exposure for Bahrain and more exposure for the academy and the reach out for all our clients and understanding what GAA can achieve and what Bahrain can put forth. At the BIAS it’s the visitors that we depend on. The more exposure we get, the better it is. The most attractive part about Bahrain is that people spend time in communication. As you can see, the footfall is quite generous. People do come in, they ask the questions, they have enough time to understand what is being offered and it just promotes more of this business.”

The GAA is a one-stop shop for all aviation products and non-aviation products, he added.

“I believe with the support of our sister companies, specifically in Bahrain and outside we can create the new generation in different sectors of the aviation industry,” he said.

“Such as for the airport, the airlines, engineering, the air traffic controllers, and the civil aviation we become a one stop shop for all the aviation segments within Bahrain. It would be quite selective. It is like the doctors and the engineers that enter the universities to prepare themselves, we would have the same thing we would create the future of aviation.”
