Abdullah bin Zayed Holds Bilateral Talks with Czech Republic’s Minister of Foreign Affairs
Prague, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), engaged in constructive discussions with Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
In their meeting, the two dignitaries deliberated on avenues to bolster bilateral relations and enhance collaborative efforts between their respective nations. Emphasizing the significance of fostering UAE-Czech cooperation across various sectors, including economic, investment, and developmental realms, both sides underscored their commitment to advancing mutual interests and the welfare of their peoples.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the UAE’s unwavering commitment to strengthening its ties with the Czech Republic, commending the ongoing advancements in bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
In reciprocation, Minister Jan Lipavský warmly welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation, expressing his nation’s eagerness to elevate cooperation with the UAE across diverse spheres.
The discussions also broached recent developments in the Middle East region, particularly concerning the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the imperative of consolidating regional and international efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire, safeguarding the security and well-being of all civilians, and intensifying humanitarian assistance to alleviate the plight of Gazans.
Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the urgent need for enhanced international cooperation to combat extremism, mitigate tensions, and foster peace in the region, reiterating the UAE’s steadfast commitment to supporting humanitarian endeavors and ensuring the protection of civilian lives.
The meeting witnessed the attendance of key officials, including Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Dr. Ghalia Ali Al Humaidan, Chargé d´Affaires at the UAE Embassy in the Czech Republic. Also present was Jiří Kozák, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, highlighting the significance accorded to the discussions by both sides.
