Abdullah bin Zayed Meets Slovenian Foreign Minister to Bolster Bilateral Ties

Ljubljana, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting today with Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Slovenia, during his working visit to the central European country.

In their discussions, Sheikh Abdullah and Fajon explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation and deepen the privileged friendship between the UAE and Slovenia. They reviewed opportunities to strengthen ties across various sectors, including economic, trade, investment, tourism, energy, and climate change.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed his gratitude to Minister Fajon for the warm welcome and hospitality. He emphasized that this visit provided a crucial platform for dialogue and the exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, aiming to elevate the cooperation between the two nations to new heights of growth and development across all fields.

He highlighted the UAE’s commitment to building robust bridges of cooperation and strengthening friendship with Slovenia, underscoring the mutual benefits and prosperity such relations bring to both countries.

The two ministers also addressed a range of regional and international issues, focusing on the latest developments in the Middle East and their humanitarian and security implications.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Hamad Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Austria and Non-Resident Ambassador to Slovenia.
