ADA University Launches “Development of Leadership Skills” Programme for Ministry of Economy Employees
Baku, The Gulf Observer: ADA University has launched a new “Development of Leadership Skills” programme in collaboration with the Training Centre of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, News Hub Consultants reports. The programme, which commenced on October 17, aims to strengthen the strategic thinking, decision-making, and management skills of 26 ministry employees.
During the opening ceremony, Aygün Hajiyeva, adviser to ADA University’s vice-rector for academic affairs, emphasized the university’s focus on human potential development through its Specialisation Programme. She noted that the leadership initiative is designed to equip internal leaders with the knowledge and skills to benefit their teams and broader society.
Aida Ibrahimova, Chairperson of the Training Centre’s Management Board, stressed the need to modernize management systems in response to evolving economic, social, and technological conditions. She highlighted the programme’s role in accelerating the professional growth of ministry employees to adapt to these changes.
The two-month programme features seven modules covering essential leadership skills, including team management, strategic planning, negotiation, and public speaking. Sessions will include presentations, case studies, group work, and simulations, led by ADA University faculty and guest experts from both public and private sectors, as well as diplomatic professionals.
