ADNOC to Showcase Major Expansion and Strategic Partnerships at Oil & Gas Turkmenistan 2025

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is set to participate in the 30th edition of Oil & Gas Turkmenistan (OGT 2025) with its largest-ever delegation, underscoring the company’s growing commitment to Turkmenistan and the Caspian energy region. The landmark event will take place from October 22–24, 2025, in Ashgabat.

ADNOC’s participation includes Diamond Sponsorship, a prominent interactive exhibition stand, and executive speakers addressing the conference, highlighting the company’s leading role in fostering international collaboration in the energy sector.

The UAE energy leader’s commitment to Turkmenistan was further strengthened earlier this year when ADNOC secured a 38% stake in the offshore Block I gas concession under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with Turkmennebit, Hazarnebit, and PETRONAS. The deal, which also includes gas-sharing arrangements with Turkmengaz, represents one of five international gas transactions ADNOC has successfully concluded since launching its international energy investment company, XRG, in 2024.

Producing approximately 400 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day, Block I holds more than seven trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas resources, offering significant potential for future expansion. This asset is poised to enhance energy security, economic growth, and long-term community development within Turkmenistan and the wider region.

As part of its continued investment in Turkmenistan, ADNOC plans to open a new office in Ashgabat in the coming months. The office will serve as a hub for further cooperation, innovation, and capacity-building between the UAE and Turkmenistan.
