Algerian speaker praises Iran's performance in scientific, technological fields

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Ibrahim Boughali, the speaker of the People’s National Assembly of the Republic of Algeria, praised Iran’s accomplishments in the fields of medical sciences, agriculture, and culture, stating that as an Islamic nation, Iran can assist in the advancement and development of other Islamic countries

Boughali arrived in Tehran on Sunday, leading a high-ranking parliamentary delegation.

On Tuesday, he visited the permanent exhibition of knowledge-based products at the House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT).

While there, he praised Iran’s accomplishments in the fields of medical sciences, agriculture, and culture, stating that interactions between Tehran and Algiers in knowledge-based sciences would benefit the industries of both countries.

Boughali announced that the new policy of the Algerian government is to reduce the country’s dependence on oil and gas fields and diversify investments in different sectors.

During his stay in the Islamic Republic, the Algerian speaker’s itinerary includes a visit to the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense in Tehran, an exploration of Iranian knowledge-based and technological achievements, and a trip to the city of Isfahan.
