Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Ambassador of Algeria to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Ramani, attended the Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026, held in Islamabad from January 31 to February 2, 2026.

The three-day festival was organized by the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) in collaboration with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and provincial tourism departments, under the supervision of the Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Tourism, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan.

The event brought together government representatives, diplomats, tourism stakeholders, sports personalities, and families from across the country to celebrate Pakistan’s diverse tourism potential and vibrant cultural heritage. A range of activities, including cultural performances, sports competitions, exhibitions, and family-oriented programs, were organized to promote domestic tourism and strengthen inter-provincial harmony.

Ambassador Dr. Ramani’s participation underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy and international engagement in fostering tourism cooperation. The festival also served as a platform to highlight Pakistan’s commitment to sustainable tourism development and to enhancing collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders.

The Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026 reaffirmed the government’s resolve to position tourism and sports as key pillars of economic growth, cultural exchange, and national integration.
