Amir of Qatar participates in SCO Summit

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit held today, July 4, 2024, in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The summit, themed “Promoting Multilateral Dialogue – Pursuing Peace and Sustainable Development,” saw the attendance of numerous Heads of State and Government, alongside delegations and representatives from various regional and international organizations.
The official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir also attended the summit. In addition to participating in the summit discussions, His Highness the Amir attended a luncheon hosted by His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in honor of the Heads of State and Government and the participating delegations.
