Amir of Qatar receives CEO of Shell Group

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received in his office at the Amiri Diwan, Ben van Beurden, CEO of Shell Group, and the accompanying delegation on Sunday morning, who called on the Amir to greet on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

His Highness the Amir wished Ben van Beurden success in his future assignments. The Amir also welcomed Wael Sawan, expressing his congratulations on his selection as CEO of the group, wishing him success in his duties.

For his part, Ben van Beurden expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for the cooperation he received during his tenure.

During the meeting, the existing cooperation relations between Qatar and Shell Group plc in the field of energy and prospects for its development were reviewed.
