Amir of Qatar to Attend G20 Summit and Undertake Official Visits to Costa Rica and Colombia

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will participate in the G20 Summit on Monday at the invitation of His Excellency Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The summit, hosted in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, will see the participation of Their Highnesses, Their Excellencies, and heads of state, government, and delegations.

Following the summit, His Highness will embark on official visits to the Republic of Costa Rica and the Republic of Colombia, where he will hold discussions with the leaders and senior officials of both nations. The visits aim to strengthen bilateral relations and explore avenues for cooperation in various fields, alongside deliberating on regional and international matters of mutual interest.

During his stay in Costa Rica, His Highness will attend the eighth edition of the Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence (ACE) Award ceremony, which will take place in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. The prestigious award recognizes global efforts in combating corruption and promoting transparency and good governance.

His Highness will be accompanied by an official delegation.
