Anwar Ibrahim Emphasizes Welfare and Infrastructure at Penang MADANI Breaking Fast Ceremony

Penang, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attended the Penang State Level MADANI Breaking Fast Ceremony at the Abu Ubaidah Ibni Al-Jarrah Mosque, Bandar Tasek Mutiara, where he underscored the importance of prioritizing the resolution of people’s problems alongside infrastructure development.
In his address, Prime Minister Anwar stressed the need for the State Government to focus on addressing pressing issues such as extreme poverty, flooding, and housing challenges to meet the needs of the community. He highlighted that balanced development, encompassing both welfare and infrastructure, is crucial for the well-being of the people.
Following his speech, the Prime Minister witnessed the presentation of contributions to two mosque kariahs—Abu Ubaidah Ibni Al-Jarrah Mosque and Sungai Kechil Mosque—both situated in the South Seberang Perai district. Additionally, donations were handed over to the asnaf group and secondary school students from disadvantaged families, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and compassion during Ramadan.
The ceremony also served as an opportunity for Prime Minister Anwar to engage with the local community and strengthen ties with the leaders and residents of Bandar Tasek Mutiara. The harmonious gathering fostered unity and reinforced the collective commitment to the well-being of the nation.
