Australian High Commissioner Pays Courtesy Call on Malaysian Counterpart in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency Mr. Timothy Kane, the newly appointed High Commissioner of Australia to Pakistan, on January 19 paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, at the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad.

During the meeting, both High Commissioners exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including regional developments, diplomatic engagement in Pakistan, and opportunities for enhanced cooperation. The discussion highlighted the importance of sustained dialogue and close collaboration among diplomatic missions based in Islamabad.

Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan welcomed the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure. He expressed confidence that bilateral engagement between Malaysia and Australia would continue to grow through constructive diplomatic interaction, as well as cooperation in multilateral and regional forums.
