Azerbaijan Advances Resettlement Efforts with New IDP Relocations to Shusha

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Another group of former internally displaced persons, comprising families previously housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, pioneer camps, and administrative buildings across various regions of Azerbaijan, has been relocated from the Garadagh district of Baku to the city of Shusha. This significant move was reported by local media sources.

In this phase, 21 families, totaling 79 individuals, have successfully moved to Shusha. Upon their arrival, the residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for their unwavering support and comprehensive care. They also extended their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army for liberating their lands from occupation.

As of now, permanent settlements have been established in Shusha for 147 families, comprising 570 individuals, marking a significant milestone in the resettlement process.
