Azerbaijan Allocates Nearly 2 Billion Manats for Reconstruction of Freed Territories

Baku, The Gulf Observer: In the first half of this year, the government of Azerbaijan allocated 1 billion 953.5 million manats for the reconstruction and restoration of territories liberated from occupation, according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.

This allocation represents 51.1% of the 3 billion 825 million manats earmarked for this purpose in the 2024 state budget. The disbursed funds were based on cash order documents submitted by customer organizations for respective projects.

Additionally, 1 billion 64.9 million manats were financed based on orders issued by executives for state capital investment expenses, accounting for 42.9% of the allocated expenses for this year. This amount reflects a 40.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
