Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership in Gabala

Gabala, The Gulf Observer: On October 6, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev, on the sidelines of the Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Gabala.
Minister Bayramov extended his congratulations to Minister Kosherbayev on his recent appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his official responsibilities.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the strong strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, highlighting the pivotal role of high-level and top-level contacts in advancing bilateral cooperation.
The ministers exchanged views on various aspects of the strategic partnership and discussed prospects for cooperation in political, economic, trade, transport, communications, humanitarian, and other spheres. They also deliberated on the current regional situation.
The meeting emphasized the importance of further enhancing collaboration between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan within regional and international organizations, notably the Organization of Turkic States and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Both parties acknowledged the significance of the historic agreements reached during the Washington meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, recognizing their vital role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Additionally, the ministers discussed other issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to deepening bilateral ties.
