Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Foreign Ministers Reaffirm Strategic Partnership in Phone Call

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation today with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev.

Minister Bayramov congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on assuming office and extended best wishes for his success in the new role.

During the discussion, the two foreign ministers praised the high level of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership, emphasizing that regular high-level contacts and reciprocal visits continue to advance bilateral cooperation. Both sides expressed confidence that joint efforts will further strengthen the multifaceted ties between the two countries.

The ministers also underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation within regional and international organizations where Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan hold membership, while highlighting the upcoming Summit of the Organization of Turkic States scheduled to take place in Gabala this October.

Minister Kosherbayev expressed gratitude for the congratulations and reaffirmed his commitment to the continued development of comprehensive relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
