Azerbaijan and Russia Strengthen Ties in Military-Technical Cooperation Talks

Baku, The Gulf Observer: A series of high-level meetings on the development of military-technical cooperation took place at the Baku Expo Center as part of the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan Defense International Exhibition (ADEX), the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced today.
Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a significant meeting with a delegation led by Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation. The discussions centered on the critical role military-technical collaboration plays in fostering regional peace and security. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening mutual cooperation and addressing other issues of shared interest.
Following the meeting, the Azerbaijani and Russian delegations toured the exhibition booths of leading Russian military-industrial companies. The delegations were briefed on a wide range of advanced weapons, equipment, aircraft, and aerial vehicles on display, showcasing the technological innovations of both countries’ defense industries.
The ADEX exhibition, now in its fifth year, continues to serve as a premier platform for regional and international defense cooperation, attracting participants from numerous countries and facilitating dialogue on modern defense technologies.
