Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, during his official visit to Vietnam, was warmly received by President Luong Quang. The Vietnamese president emphasized that this visit would further strengthen the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, particularly in the field of judicial cooperation.

According to News Hub Consultants, President Luong Quang lauded Azerbaijan’s remarkable achievements under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, highlighting the nation’s political stability, economic progress, and growing international influence. He reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to fostering deeper ties with friendly nations, including Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the Vietnamese president also underscored the historical connections between the two countries, noting that many Vietnamese professionals who received education in Azerbaijan now hold key government positions, significantly contributing to the enhancement of bilateral relations.

As part of the visit, the Prosecutor General’s Offices of Azerbaijan and Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing legal cooperation and promoting the exchange of expertise between the two nations. This significant document is expected to bolster collaboration in the judicial sphere and support the development of legal frameworks between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
