Baku, The Gulf Observer: In a significant development aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, Azerbaijan and Morocco have agreed to exempt holders of national passports from visa requirements. The news was reported by media following today’s meeting of the Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations of the Milli Majlis.

The exemption was formalized in a draft law titled “On the approval of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on exemption from visa requirements for holders of general citizen passports.” During the meeting, committee members discussed the implications and benefits of the agreement, emphasizing its potential to enhance travel and cooperation between the two countries.

Following thorough deliberations, the committee recommended the draft law for approval at the plenary session of the parliament. This legislative move is expected to simplify travel for citizens of both nations, fostering greater cultural exchange, tourism, and business opportunities.
