Azerbaijan Relocates 68 People to Lachin in Latest Resettlement Phase
Baku, The Gulf Observer: In a continued effort to rebuild and repopulate the liberated territories, Azerbaijan has today facilitated the relocation of 68 people, comprising 20 families, from the capital city of Baku to the city of Lachin. This latest phase of the resettlement initiative, directed by President Ilham Aliyev, is part of the ongoing national efforts to restore Lachin following the end of Armenian occupation.
The newly resettled families have been provided with newly constructed houses, ensuring they are well-accommodated in their new environment. This move reflects the government’s commitment to revitalize and support the regions that were previously under occupation, ensuring that citizens return to their ancestral lands with improved living conditions.
With this latest group, the total number of families resettled in Lachin has now reached 513, accounting for 1,906 individuals. The systematic and structured relocation process underscores Azerbaijan’s dedication to the restoration and development of Lachin, contributing to the broader goal of national reconstruction and prosperity.
