Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Azerbaijan women’s national basketball team clinched the championship title at the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Sumgayit Stop 2025, marking a significant achievement in the country’s basketball history.
The team — consisting of Arica Carter, Alexandra Mollenhauer, Brianna Fraser, and Dina Ulyanova — delivered a strong performance in the final, defeating Latvia 15–12 to secure the top podium position.
Alexandra Mollenhauer was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in recognition of her outstanding performance throughout the competition.
The victory highlights Azerbaijan’s growing presence in international 3×3 basketball and reinforces the team’s competitive standing in the global arena.
