Azerbaijani and Georgian Prime Ministers Hold Bilateral Meeting in Turkmenistan

Turkmenbashi, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, held a bilateral meeting with his Georgian counterpart, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, on August 5 in the city of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Asadov conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to Prime Minister Kobakhidze. In response, the Georgian Prime Minister expressed his gratitude and requested that his own greetings be conveyed to the President of Azerbaijan.
The two leaders reviewed the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, expressing satisfaction with the high-level strategic partnership between the two countries. They noted the continuous advancement of bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
In particular, discussions focused on expanding collaboration in the fields of economy, trade, investment, energy, transport, transit, and humanitarian affairs. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial ties and deepening regional cooperation.
The meeting underscored the shared interest of Azerbaijan and Georgia in promoting stability, economic integration, and sustainable development in the South Caucasus region.
