Azerbaijani Aviators Celebrate 86th Anniversary of Civil Aviation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani aviators proudly celebrate their professional holiday and the 86th anniversary of the country’s civil aviation today, according to reports from the Press Service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.
June 2 is designated as the professional holiday for civil aviation workers in Azerbaijan, established by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev on May 18, 2006.
To mark this significant occasion, the management and staff of Azerbaijan Airlines visited the Alley of Honour. They paid tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev by laying a wreath and flowers at his grave, and they also placed flowers at the grave of distinguished ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
