Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov Meets with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran

Baku, The Gulf Observer: As part of his working visit to Tehran, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Asadov conveyed warm greetings from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to President Pezeshkian. The discussions centered on further strengthening Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, which are based on the principles of friendship and good neighborliness. Both sides expressed their commitment to enriching mutually beneficial cooperation with new initiatives and projects.
The leaders reviewed the ongoing implementation of joint projects in key sectors, including transport, energy, and oil and gas. They emphasized the importance of continuing collaboration in these areas to advance shared economic interests and regional development.
Prime Minister Asadov also underscored the significance of the 3rd Caspian Economic Forum, reiterating Azerbaijan’s vision of the Caspian Sea as a platform for peace, harmony, and effective international cooperation.
In light of evolving regional dynamics, the meeting also addressed various other relevant topics of mutual interest, reflecting the shared commitment of both nations to maintaining stability and fostering economic progress.
