Azerbaijani, San Marino Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: On November 27, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Luca Beccari, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Digital Transition of San Marino, during Beccari’s official visit to Italy.

The two ministers exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan–San Marino relations, emphasizing opportunities to expand political dialogue, activate regular political consultations between their foreign ministries, increase reciprocal visits, and develop cooperation across various sectors.

Both sides expressed interest in strengthening economic and trade ties, exploring investment opportunities, and enhancing collaboration in tourism, education, and humanitarian fields.

Minister Bayramov briefed his counterpart on Azerbaijan’s initiatives to ensure regional peace and stability, including the normalization process with Armenia under the Washington Joint Declaration, as well as large-scale restoration and reconstruction projects in liberated territories.

The discussion also covered cooperation within international organizations and addressed regional and global issues of mutual concern, including developments in the Middle East and the ongoing Russia–Ukraine conflict.
