Azerbaijani, Emirati Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral and Regional Issues in Phone Call

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

During the discussion, the two top diplomats reviewed the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors. They also discussed collaboration within international organizations and exchanged views on pressing regional and global security challenges.

Both ministers expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in the region, particularly in the context of the ongoing confrontation between Israel and Iran. Emphasizing the potential consequences of further escalation, they reaffirmed the critical need to resolve tensions through peaceful and diplomatic means.

In addition to regional developments, the foreign ministers also addressed other issues of mutual interest, reiterating their readiness to continue dialogue and strengthen cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.
