Azerbaijan’s Farid Gayibov Re-Elected President of European Gymnastics

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, has been re-elected as President of European Gymnastics. The election took place in Prague, Czech Republic, during the 31st European Gymnastics Congress.

Gayibov, who has served as President of European Gymnastics since 2017, will continue in the role following strong support from member federations. His re-election reflects confidence in his leadership and contributions to the development and promotion of gymnastics across Europe.

Under Gayibov’s tenure, European Gymnastics has expanded its activities, strengthened international cooperation, and implemented modern approaches to athlete support and event organization.

His continued presidency is expected to further advance the sport’s growth and enhance Europe’s position within the global gymnastics community.
