Baku, The Gulf Observer: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has voiced deep concern over the ongoing military escalation in the region, warning that it poses a serious threat to security and stability both regionally and globally.

In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized that the rising tensions are alarming and risk further destabilizing the broader international environment.

“The military escalation, which poses a serious threat to security and stability both in the region and globally, causes deep concern,” the statement said.

The Ministry firmly called on all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint, refrain from actions that could further intensify tensions, and return to dialogue and negotiations.

“We firmly call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, refrain from actions that would further increase tensions, and return to the negotiating table. We emphasize the importance of respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of all states in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the universally recognized norms and principles of international law,” the statement read.

Azerbaijan reiterated its support for resolving disputes through diplomatic means and underscored the necessity of adhering to international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter to ensure lasting peace and stability.
