Azerbaijan’s SOCAR delegation visits Bukhara Oil Refinery

Bukhara, The Gulf Observer: A working meeting of the delegation of SOCAR Azerbaijan oil company with specialists of Bukhara Oil Refinery took place.

The primary purpose of the delegation’s visit is to exchange experience in occupational safety. Acquaintance with the company began with the leading production shop. The guests were shown the central control room, which allowed them to control several technological processes simultaneously.

SOCAR representatives met with the plant’s employees and got acquainted with the conditions created at the enterprise. The guests were also informed in detail about the organization of various preventive measures at Bukhara Oil Refinery, as well as practical training to improve employees’ skills.

In addition, various projects aimed at improving industrial safety are being implemented at the plant. The principle of operation of a specialized Hyundai KAV 60 fire truck was also demonstrated, which makes it possible to remotely control the extinguishing of a fire, quickly and effectively eliminating the ignition source.

The guests were also informed about products manufactured at the enterprise. Today, products of 9 types and 22 models are produced here.

Issues related to the development of Bukhara Oil Refinery in the coming years were raised at the meeting. The working visit of the SOCAR delegation was held in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
