Bahrain’s humanitarian initiatives commended

Manama, The Gulf Observer: Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi, praised the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in supporting humanitarian work in Bahrain and overseas. He stressed the kingdom’s advanced status as a model to emulate in charity and humanitarian work, pointing out the role of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) in this respect.

The Arab Parliament Speaker made the comments marking the International Day of Solidarity which is observed on September 5. He praised the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in carrying out the vision of HM the King through a wide range of initiatives.

He also commended the efforts of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He stressed that HH’s contributions resulted in many achievements through the relief and humanitarian aid provided for the needy in Bahrain and beyond.
