Bahrain’s Education Minister receives Ottawa University President

Manama, The Gulf Observer: Education Minister of Bahrain Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma received the President of the University of Ottawa, Jacques Frémont.

Ottawa University President Dr. Jacques gave an overview about Bahrain’s strategy in the field of higher education and scientific research, shedding line on the bylaws and edicts that regulate this sector.

During the meeting, the minister also outlined Bahrain’s drive to improve the outcomes of higher education and attract investments to this sector.

The two sides also discussed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the University of Ottawa in various fields, in addition to coordination between Bahrain College of Teachers and the College of Education at the University of Ottawa.
