Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko Arrives in Oman
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday evening for a three-day official visit. Upon his arrival at the Royal Airport, he and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, who led the welcoming party.
Sayyid Badr greeted the Prime Minister, expressing his wishes for a successful visit and a pleasant stay in Oman. Other officials present to welcome the Belarusian delegation included Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat; Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and Head of the Mission of Honour; Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, Oman’s Ambassador to Russia and non-resident Ambassador to Belarus; and the Ambassador of Belarus to Oman.
Following the formal reception, Sayyid Badr escorted Prime Minister Golovchenko to the main hall, passing through a ceremonial guard of honour by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The Belarusian Prime Minister is accompanied by an official delegation that includes the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, Deputy Minister of Industry, the Ambassador of Belarus to Oman, and other senior officials from the Belarusian government. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new areas of cooperation between the two nations.
