Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Representatives of Belgian companies are set to visit Turkmenistan for talks on cooperation in the infrastructure and industrial sectors, the Turkmenistan Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.

During a meeting in Brussels, Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and Ghislain D’Hoop, Acting General Director for Multilateral Affairs and Globalization at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed the upcoming visit by European business leaders.

The discussions covered key issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda, focusing on economic, cultural, humanitarian, and political collaboration. Both parties emphasized the potential for significant partnerships in these areas.

Gurbanov and D’Hoop also explored the possibility of holding the next round of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and Belgium at a mutually convenient time.

In concluding their discussions, both officials highlighted the importance of further strengthening the friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Belgium.
