BSU Hosts Delegation from Malaysian Higher Education Institutions
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Baku State University (BSU) has received a delegation of representatives from Malaysian higher education institutions, according to media reports.
A meeting was held between the Malaysian delegation and BSU leadership, during which Rector Elchin Babayev briefed the visitors on the university’s academic structure, research environment, international rankings, and ongoing efforts to expand global cooperation.
Rector Babayev highlighted the significant potential for collaboration with Malaysian universities, particularly in master’s and doctoral-level programs. He emphasized that joint initiatives in academic exchange, dual degree programs, scientific research, and the organization of international conferences could produce substantial and mutually beneficial results.
The Malaysian representatives expressed strong interest in forming academic partnerships with BSU, Azerbaijan’s largest higher education institution, across a wide range of disciplines.
The visit is expected to open new avenues for cooperation and further strengthen educational and research ties between Azerbaijan and Malaysia.
