Baku, The Gulf Observer: On March 24, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, initiated a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in a diplomatic exchange aimed at fostering closer ties between the two nations.
President Radev conveyed his sincere regrets to President Aliyev regarding the unforeseen postponement of his planned visit to Baku, attributing the delay to pressing internal political commitments within Bulgaria.
During their exchange, both heads of state deliberated on the avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, underscoring the substantial potential for collaboration in energy, investments, transportation connectivity, and the facilitation of enhanced business engagements between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
