Chery achieves remarkable 52.6% Year-on-Year sales growth in 2023

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese automaker Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd. announced robust sales for the year 2023, as detailed in the company’s sales report released on Tuesday. The impressive figures reveal a total sales volume exceeding 1.88 million vehicles, reflecting a notable year-on-year surge of 52.6 percent.

Notably, the company experienced remarkable growth in its export segment, with 937,148 vehicles sold internationally, marking a substantial 101.1 percent increase compared to the previous year. In December alone, Chery achieved the sale of 215,690 vehicles, maintaining month-on-month sales growth consistently throughout 2023.

The financial performance of the company exhibited substantial growth as well, with revenue soaring over 50 percent year on year to surpass 300 billion yuan (approximately 42.25 billion U.S. dollars) in the past year. Chery’s global automobile user base has now surpassed 13 million, including 3.35 million overseas users, underscoring the company’s expanding global presence and popularity.
