China and Brunei Commit to Enhanced Cooperation in Foreign Ministerial Talks

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: In a significant diplomatic encounter, Foreign Minister of China, Wang Yi expressed China’s readiness to bolster cooperation with Brunei, aiming to elevate bilateral relations to unprecedented heights. This declaration came during talks between Wang Yi and Bruneian Foreign Minister II Dato’ Erywan Pehin Yusof held in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang Yi conveyed China’s commitment to collaborating closely with Brunei in establishing a long-term vision for jointly building a community with a shared future. Furthermore, he emphasized the shared objective of advancing the strategic partnership between the two nations to a new zenith. Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, underscored the importance of fortifying ties between China and Brunei across various domains.
The Bruneian Foreign Minister’s visit to China, spanning three days and concluding on Wednesday, signifies the mutual dedication of both countries to strengthening bilateral cooperation and fostering deeper understanding.
