China Enhances Passenger Safety Inspection Measures at Railway Stations
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: In a bid to bolster passenger safety, China has announced new regulations to strengthen and regulate safety inspections at railway stations. The regulation, set to be effective from February 1, emphasizes the prioritization of vulnerable groups, including the elderly, children, pregnant women, the sick, and disabled individuals during safety checks.
Railway transport companies are mandated to adjust the number of inspection passages based on the actual situation to facilitate the smooth entry of passengers into the stations, as outlined in the regulation. This measure aims to streamline the inspection process and enhance the overall safety experience for passengers.
The move aligns with China’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and security of all railway passengers, with a particular focus on those who may require additional assistance or consideration during safety procedures. By implementing these regulations, authorities aim to create a safer and more accommodating environment for all individuals utilizing the railway system.
