Roundtable Discussion Explores New Horizons and Prospects for Uzbekistan-Belarus Cooperation

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: A comprehensive roundtable discussion on “Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus – New Horizons and Prospects” commenced in Tashkent. The event, organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) in collaboration with the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research (BISR), brought together key figures from diplomatic missions, as well as leaders and representatives from expert-analytical, scientific, and academic circles of both nations.
Representatives from esteemed Belarusian research institutions such as BISR, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, the State University of Transport, and Vitebsk State University participated in the event. On the Uzbek side, leaders and experts from ISRS, the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Studies, the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations, the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, the Center for the Study of Problems of Transport and Logistics Development, Uzbekistan Railways JSC, and the Agency of Information and Mass Communications attended the discussion.
ISRS First Deputy Director, Akramjon Nematov, highlighted that the roundtable aimed to facilitate exchanges of views on the current state and prospects for the ongoing development of bilateral cooperation. Key areas of focus included trade, economics, investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics connectivity, as well as the augmentation of cultural and humanitarian dialogue between the two nations.
