China, Iran, and Russia to Hold Joint Naval Exercise “Security Belt-2025”

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: The Chinese, Iranian, and Russian navies are set to conduct a joint naval exercise in March, China’s Ministry of National Defense announced on Sunday.
The exercise, codenamed “Security Belt-2025,” will take place in waters near the Iranian port of Chabahar. The Chinese fleet will include a destroyer and a supply ship.
The drill will focus on striking maritime targets, damage control, and joint search and rescue operations. The objective is to strengthen military trust and enhance pragmatic cooperation among the participating naval forces, the ministry stated.
