China lodges stern representations to Japan over G7 statements

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: China has lodged stern representations to Japan over the negative statements on China during the Group of Seven (G7) foreign ministers’ meeting.

Liu Jinsong, director-general of the department of Asian affairs of China’s foreign ministry, on Wednesday met with Koizumi Tsutomu, chief minister of the Embassy of Japan in China.

Liu expressed serious concerns and strong dissatisfaction during their meeting.
