China Reaffirms Commitment to High-Level Opening-Up, Encourages Japanese Investment

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: China remains committed to promoting high-level opening-up and welcomes Japanese companies to invest and expand their presence in the country, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng stated on Monday.
He, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during a meeting in Beijing with a visiting Japanese business delegation.
Highlighting the deeply integrated economic ties between China and Japan, He emphasized the extensive common interests and vast potential for cooperation between the two nations. He expressed hope that the Japanese business community would play a constructive role in advancing win-win cooperation. The vice premier also reaffirmed China’s openness to investment from Japan and other countries, encouraging businesses to seize development opportunities in the Chinese market.
Leading figures from Japan’s business sector, including Masakazu Tokura, Chairman of the Japan Business Federation; Kosei Shindo, Chairman of the Japan-China Economic Association; and Ken Kobayashi, Chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed their commitment to strengthening economic ties. They affirmed that the Japanese business community remains keen to expand investment in China and contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
